Indian artist honours late singer Shaukat Ali in a unique manner

Lahore, 4th April: An Indian artist has created a statue of the late Pakistani legendary singer Shaukat Ali.

According to Baaghi TV’s report, Indian Punjabi artist Manjit Singh Gill has created a statue in honour of Pakistani folk singer Shaukat Ali who passed away recently in Lahore.

As per reports, a statue of late Shaukat Ali, erected by Manjit Singh, will soon be installed on a highway in Indian Punjab.

Manjit Singh Gill who is an expert in making statues of important people hails from the Moga district of the Indian Punjab.

Earlier, he had also created a statue of Abdul Sattar Edhi, a well-known Pakistani social activist and humanity’s greatest servant.

Manjit studied fine arts at Government Art College, Chandigarh and says that making sculptures gives him peace of mind.

It is to be remembered that folk singer Shaukat Ali breathed his last on Friday in Lahore. He had been given a Pride of Performance award by the government of Pakistan.
