Indian forces have launched a search operation in Samba district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was reportedly started after a drone sighting near a village along the Working Boundary.

Indian official claimed that panic gripped the area after a drone-like object was observed hovering over Nanga village in the Ramgarh sector, allegedly coming from the Pakistani side.

Following the sighting, Indian paramilitary and police teams were rushed to the spot, cordoning off the area and conducting searches. The operation has also been extended to adjoining villages, where the presence of Indian forces has been significantly heightened.

The search operation was ongoing at the time of the last reports.
