Indian media looks like Cartoon Network more than Journalism, Shahid Afridi

Former captain and legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi, while reacting to the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, has likened the Indian media to the “Cartoon Network” and expressed deep concern over the current situation.
According to Baaghi TV, in a statement released on his official Facebook page, Shahid Afridi wrote that sports are always above borders, religions and politics, but unfortunately, today cricket itself has come under attack.

Afridi criticized the Indian media, saying that it was promoting sensationalism instead of truth. “It seems less journalism and more Cartoon Network.” At the end of his message, he said that it is time for the stadiums to be repopulated, not only for sports but also for the promotion of peace.
