Interior Minister Meets Governor Punjab

LAHORE,  Sep 19 (Online Int’l): Interior Minister Brig (Retd) Ejaz Shah has met Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and exchanged views on a set of issues including the law and order situation in Punjab, matters of mutual interest and political situation.

During the meeting the Governor Punjab said the opposition All Parties Conference (APC) taking place in Bilawal House Islamabad today poses no threat to government. People of Pakistan have given a mandate of five years to government. He went on to say that the government will complete its tenure and the next general election will be held as per schedule.

He remarked that the opposition has failed in the parliament and will meet failure outside the parliament too. The government will complete its constitutional tenure. The government will go nowhere. Opposition parties taking part in the APC have their vested interests.
