Lahore, 21st June: Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar has invited US companies to invest in the energy market.
Hammad Azhar invited American companies to invest in the energy sector in Pakistan and said that cooperation between Pakistan and the United States would be further enhanced.
According to sources, he said this during a meeting with the charge d’affaires of the US embassy. The meeting discussed the promotion of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar, who belongs to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), informed that electricity demand has increased by 20% this year.
However, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced that it is impossible to give a base to America, but we can strengthen business relations with the US.
