“Israel has some serious reservations about the Iran nuclear deal that is being put together in Vienna,” Lapid said on Sunday. “We believe the way to discuss those disagreements is through direct and professional conversations, not in press conferences.”
Ahead of the two leaders’ meeting, the Israeli foreign minister said there had been some mistakes in relations between the two countries in the past with Netanyahu closely aligning himself with former US President Donald Trump and Republicans in the US Congress.
