Islamabad High Court’s Decison about the Bears in the Zoo
According to a BaaghiTV report, a contempt case was heard over the transfer of 2 brown bears at Islamabad high court.
The court did not ask the bears to be moved to another zoo, rather he said that the bear should be sent back to his natural environment.
The Climate Change Ministry issued export permits for the bear which was a violation of the court’s decision.
The court said that the Prime Minister had also appreciated the decision of the court. the Secretary had explained to the Climate Change and Chairperson Wildlife Board to read the court judgment.
Both bears were in a very painful condition in the zoo, like the lions as well. (The case was, the transfer of lions was also a violation of the court decision).
