According to reports, the chairman of the Supreme Islamic Committee of Palestine,Imam and Khatib of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, has said that Al-Quds endowments have gradually started taking over the administrative affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque.He warned of the serious consequences of Israeli interference in the affairs of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Palestine Information Center, Imam and Khatib of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ekrima Sabri said in a statement that the Islamic Endowment Council of Al-Quds has started taking over the administrative affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque. In particular, the eastern part of the mosque where Bab e Rehmat is located has begun to take control.

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri said that the current situation of Al-Aqsa Mosque is very worrying and dangerous. He blamed Israel for interfering in the affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds,said that Israel was encouraging Zionist crimes against Palestinians under state auspices.

Ikrima Sabri said that Israel is planning to convert the chapter of Al-Aqsa Mosque into a synagogue. Under the guise of closing Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israel had to convert Al-Aqsa Mosque into a synagogue, but with the opening of the mosque, this Israeli conspiracy did not succeed.
