Occupied Jerusalem: Israel’s national anthem is haraam for Muslims, no Muslim should think of reciting the anthem, claims Khatib of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to reports, the spokesman of Al-Aqsa Mosque has said that it is forbidden for Muslims to sing the national anthem of Israel.
According to the Anatolian News Agency, Sheikh Ikrama Sabri, the Khatib of Al-Aqsa Mosque, reacted strongly to the recitation of the Israeli national anthem by the UAE authorities, saying that there are some phrases in the Israeli national anthem which are show that the Zionists own the land of Palestine, the city of Quds and the third Islamic holy house, Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Many people in the UAE sing the national anthem of Israel, which is a sign of their ignorance or love for Israel,” he said.
It should be noted that a video has gone viral in recent weeks after Israel maintained relations with the United Arab Emirates, in which an Emirati citizen was singing the anthem of Israel, to which the Zionist authorities expressed happiness.
