Rebel TV: In a recent interview to a website, Saba Hameed said, “We are artists, we don’t have to sit at home but work. So sometimes we have no choice.”

“Sometimes it happens that we know that the project we have signed is nothing special, but we have to do it,” she said. “I have also compromised on the characters, but my only effort is to play my role honestly in the drama I have signed.”

Saba Hameed said, “Before signing any play, I look at the impact of the play on the people, including the writer, director and production house. Because sometimes it happens that, the story is very good but, its execution is not good which forces the viewers to change the channel and thus the drama itself flops”.

Referring to the criticism on dramas, Saba Hameed said that some writers are writing well, some are writing not so well. Some have good storytelling, some don’t. Sometimes there is something wrong with the script, so we can’t say that if the drama is not doing well, then the writer is responsible for it, and the writer has ruined the drama.

Saba Hameed said that small scenes are shot with a single camera, and we rehearse during the movement of the camera. Now sitting for 5 days worth of rehearsals can not be done. The techniques of the past and the present have changed. Therefore, it is better to keep pace with the changing times.
