Jemima Goldsmith all set for her first romantic-comedy movie

4th November: Former wife of Prime minister Imran Khan, Jemima Goldsmith is all set to make a romantic comedy film.

Baaghi TV: In her recent tweet, Jemima Goldsmith announced about the film and expressed happiness. She shared:

 

According to a showbiz website, the shooting of the romantic comedy film ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ written by Jemima Goldsmith will start next month.

The cast of the film includes Pakistani-born British actor Shahid Latif, British actress Lily James and Emma Thompson among others.

The story of the film revolves around the love and marriage of a British and South Asian couple, presented in a humorous manner.

Jemima Goldsmith is the scriptwriter and producer of the film and she will make it under the banner of her production house while her film will be directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor who has directed films like Mr India, Masoom, Dil Se, Bandit Queen and many more hit Indian movies.

Shekhar Kapoor will return to the film world after 13 years. Before that, he directed a biographical film ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’ which also won an Oscar Award for Best Production in 2007.

It is to be noted that Jaime Goldsmith has in the past produced TV series and a few documentary films. She has made films and web series on the issues of Muslims in Europe and America while she has also been involved in journalism in the past.
