Breaking: ‘JOKER’ Screening Cancelled

California: A United States (US) cinema has cancelled screenings of the new “JOKER” movie following a “high-level” threat.

According to details, The cinema in Huntington Beach in California has cancelled two Thursday night shows of the new “JOKER” movie. Police were also called by the cinema authorities following a “high-level” threat.

The Huntington Beach Police Department have confirmed that there is a “high-level” threat while screening “JOKER”, as the movie theme is portraying violence. Although, Police did not provide details of the threat but confirmed that the cinema reopened on Friday.

Police in all across US, have stepped up patrols at cinemas during the movie show time. Theme of “JOKER” is different from other films, which also graced the headlines.

On the other hand, “JOKER” movie lit up the box office with a massive $95M on box office. It is the biggest October opening of all time. The Warner Bros. movie, directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, easily beat “VENOM” ($32.5 million).

Reportedly, In Aurora, Colorado, Twelve people died and more than fifty people were injured in the attack during a screening of “THE DARK KNIGHT RISES”.
