Karachi July 13, 2021: Two uniformed police officers rob journalist on National Highway, police refuse to register FIR against the perpetrators.
A journalist has been robbed by officers in uniforms on the National Highway in Karachi. According to reports from BaaghiTV, local journalist Musa Kazim was robbed by police near Abdullah Goth on the National Highway. Talking to private TV channel Geo, Musa Kazim said that uniformed personnel snatched his salary during the search. The victim said that two policemen on a motorcycle stopped him during the search and took out Rs 22,000 from his pocket during the search and also threatened him while a policeman’s uniform had a badge of Adil’s name on it.
Journalist Musa Kazim added that Shah Latif police sent the victim away, asking him to write a petition seeking justice instead of filing a case or officially registering a complaint.
