It is interesting to note that among family, and friends of Sadaf Zahra and the general public, few notable women also expressed their feelings on this issue and supported the cause of domestic violence.

Asma Shirazi tweeted that she was shocked to hear about the incident of Sadaf Zahra being murdered by her husband. It may be noted that the husband Ali Salman Alvi was working for the anchor and journalist Asma Shirazi, he was the producer of her show Current Affairs.

The infamous Reham Khan did not waste any time tweeting on the same issue and said that she will be following the case of JusticeforZahra herself.

These days the woman of controversies, Cynthia Ritchie has for once stood up for the rightful cause finally. Miss Ritchie wrote on the page that domestic violence needs to end. She pointed out, “what are these ‘Aurat Marches’ for if they can not give justice to women like Zahra.”

PPP Senator Sehar Kamran tweeted on Sadaf Zahra’s thread against domestic abuse that we still live in dark ages where domestic abuse takes innocent lives.

Javeria Siddique, a journalist, and a columnist who always stand for women’s rights summed the whole incident in powerful words. She said that if your husband beats you up, doesn’t give you proper rights as a wife, and plays around with other women, then don’t think for a second. Throw out such a person from your life and don’t think about what the world would say?

Let’s all stand together and raise our voice against the common cause of domestic abuse and ask the government to serve justice to the accused.
