K-Pop Band BTS Releases New MV ‘Permission To Dance’

Lahore, 9th July: The famous South Korean boy band BTS has shared their new music video called ‘Permission To dance.’

BTS’s music video (MV) released on Friday is inspired by the American West and boys accessorized with cowboy hats and boots.

In the video, the bandmates can be seen dancing and singing, breaking free as a waitress, office workers and other people remove their face masks.

Earlier today, the group shared the video on their official Twitter account which celebrated its 8 years on Thursday:

This is the band’s third song written entirely in English, following its song ‘Dynamite’ which was released in 2020 and ‘Butter,’ released in May this year.

The song is part of the band’s ‘Butter’ CD single, which is also out on Friday and includes four tracks: ‘Butter, Permission to Dance, Butter (Instrumental) and Permission to Dance (Instrumental).’

K-pop group’s second song ‘Butter’ was performed fully in English and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. According to Billboard, after the release of Butter, BTS became the seventh artist to earn their first four Hot 100 No. 1 in less than a year and joined the likes of The Beatles and Mariah Carey.

Earlier this year, BTS made history as the first Korean pop group to receive a Grammy nod and vowed to set a goal to bag the prestigious award.
