Mumbai, 28th October: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again attacked the Indian filmmaker Karan Johar and his production company.

Kangana Ranaut leaves no opportunity to target anyone be it a film celebrity or a political personality, all have come under fire by this bold and sassy actress.

Baaghi TV: Recently, she slammed the famous filmmaker Karan Johar and his production company Dharma Productions for their appalling attitude.

The actress who is quite vocal in expressing her feelings took a jibe at Karan Johar but this time not on nepotism, but for littering a village in Goa.

Karan Johar’s film production company, Dharma Productions has come under fire from environmentalists for dumping waste in a Goan village during a film shoot.

According to reports from Pinkvilla, Miss Ranaut slammed the filmmaker while responding to a Twitter user who alleged that Johar’s production house has littered a village in the state of Goa with biomedical waste.

The user has also shared a video of the said place in which one can see garbage being scattered around. He also shared screenshots of news reports claiming the same.

Following this, Kangana responded in her won style and wrote on her Twitter handle, “Movie industry is not a virus just for the moral fibre n culture of this nation but it has become very destructive and harmful for the environment also, disgusting, filthy, irresponsible behaviour by so-called big production houses, pls help.” She has also sought help from Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and the official handle of the ministry while tagging them in her tweet.

She also shared a screenshot of an article from a magazine that alleges that Karan Johar has littered the roads of the Goan village named Nerul.

Kangana writes, “Their insensitive and inconsiderate attitude is absolutely appalling, film units need strict rules about women safety, modern ecological resolves, good medical facilities and food quality check for workers, we need the government to assign a proper department to inspect these aspects.”

The aforementioned news article says that the filmmaker allegedly littered the village after filming a movie there featuring Deepika Padukone. Karan Johar is yet to respond to the same.

It is to be noted that a few days back Dharma Productions came under fire for breaking rules and disturbing the ecosystem in Goa after locals pointed out the garbage and unsegregated waste dumped by Karan Johar’s company.

The activists have accused Johar and his team of not disposing of personal protective equipment (PPE) that were used during filming by their crew earlier this month.
