Karachi’s Water Supply Suspended due to Pipeline Explosion

Karachi (20th July, 2019): Karachi’s water supply to be suspended as a cause of pipeline exploding due to back pressure at Dhabeji pumping station. 

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, water supply for the port city has reportedly been suspended after back pressure at the Dhabeji pumping station caused a pipeline explosion. The Water board authorities have stated that the water supply as temporarily been suspended after the pipeline bursts due to power outage.

The authorities have further commented that approximately 20 million gallons less than usual have been supplied to residents of the port city. Baaghi reports confirm that technical teams are working to repair the damage incurred.
