Karan Johar gets candid about Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham

Kabhi khushi kabhi Gham was a Bollywood film starring, not one, two, or three but many superhit stars and that is why the popularity of the film has not diminished even after two decades.

The film’s director Karan Johar recently told the interesting story of selecting all the stars cast in just one day in the Indian music show ‘Indian Idol 12’.

Karan Johar said that he can never forget the day, I went to the house of one actor after another, first I went to the house of Amitabh Bachchan and told him the story of the film, he immediately became a supporter, then I went out of the house and called Jaya Bachchan, told him the whole story and she agreed.

The director of the film further said that after that I went to Shah Rukh Khan’s house, he said that you don’t need to tell me the story, we have a brother’s relationship and I am doing this film.

He said that he had heard that Kajol was married so he might not be able to do the film on which I had lined up another actress but when Kajol was told the story of the film, she started crying and she decided to do the film.

Kiran further said that then I went to Rithik Roshan’s house, her debut film ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ was not released till then but she also happily accepted the offer after which I went to Kareena’s house at 10 pm and asked her and finalized.
