According to Baaghi TV reports, tributes have been paid to the Kashmiri people by the Pakistan Army. Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day said that we salute the Kashmiris and their struggle for independence.
According to reports, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that serious human rights violations were being committed by the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir and the lockdown had further aggravated the plight of Kashmiris. According to DG ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that it was time to stop atrocities on Kashmiris and resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris and UN resolutions.

India had on August 5 repealed Article 370 of the Constitution relating to the special status of Occupied Kashmir (IIOJK) and imposed an indefinite curfew in the Valley. Thereby, the situation in the occupied valley has been extremely tense since the move by India’s Hindu extremist ruling BJP, and there is a complete lockdown in the valley. Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders have been imprisoned. All Hurriyat leaders including Syeda Asiya Andrabi, head of Dakhtan Millat, Dr. Yasin Malik are imprisoned in Indian jails.
