Pakistan to observe Kashmir Black Day on October 27

FAISALABAD, Feb 05 (APP):Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed throughout the district Faisalabad with full national enthusiasm and with determination to keep extending full support to Kashmiri people till their independence from Indian atrocities, aggression and cruelty.
The day was dawn with special prayers in all mosques of the city.
Various religious, educational, political and social organizations arranged rallies, seminars and walks to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day and to show solidarity with Kashmiri brethren.
In this connection, one minute silence was also observed at 10 a.m. after which a rally was arranged from Zila Council Chowk to Katchery Bazaar Chowk via Kahleeq Qureshi Road and Faisalabad Press Club Road.
Parliamentarians Sheikh Khurram Shahzad, Shakeel Shahid, Firdous Rae and PTI leader Mian Azad Ahmad Kastro, Divisional Commissioner Saqib Mannan, RPO Riffat Mukhtar Raja, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali, ADCG Khurram Pervaiz, AC City Syed Ayub Bukhari, CEO Education Ali Ahmad Siyan, Chairman Central Ulema Council Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi and others were present in the rally in addition to participation of a large number of officers of divisional and district administration, students and representatives of civil society.
Later, a seminar was held in Jinnah Hall of District Council where Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Labor Shakeel Shahid, MPA Firdous Rai, Divisional Commissioner Saqib Mannan, RPO Riffat Mukhtar Raja and DC Muhammad Ali addressed the participants and expressed solidarity with Kashmiri brethren by condemning atrocities of Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali also inaugurated a pictorial exhibition pertaining to the struggles of Kashmiris, at the Faisalabad Arts Council.
Kashmir Solidarity rallies were also held at Tehsil Jaranwala, Sammundri, Tandlianwala and Chak Jhumra which were led by Assistant Commissioners.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab for Sports Malik Umar Farooq also led a rally at Dijkot while a football match was played at al-Fateh Sports Complex Saleemi Chowk to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue-1122) also staged a Kashmir Solidarity Rally at GTS Chowk. District Emergency Officer Ehtisham Wahla led the rally while Emergency Officer Operations Ghulam Shabbir, Repair & Monitoring Officer Faisal Muneer, Incharge Motorbike Ambulance Sohail Qamar and a large number of rescuers participated in it.
Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmad also led a rally at Sammundri and condemned Indian aggression and barbarism in illegally occupied Kashmir valley.
Tehreek-e-Ahle-Sunnat Pakistan, Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadis, Jamat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Tehreek Sirat-e-Mustaqeem and Quran-o-Sunnah Movement also arranged walks and seminars to express solidarity with Kashmiri people.
Provincial Minister for Colonies & Culture Mian Khiyal Ahmad Kastro also led a rally arranged by Markazi Ulema Council Pakistan at Jame Masjid Gol Ghulam Muhammad Abad where Chairman of the council Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi, Hafiq Maqbool Ahmad, Maulana Azam Farooq, Maulana Abid Farooq, Muhammad Amir Maqbool, Qari Karam Dad Huzaifa, Muhammad Arshad Qasmi, Maulana Naeem Talha, Qari Saqib Aziz, Qari Nasir Farooqi, Qari Ismaeel Raheemi, Maulana Ismaeel Qasmi, Abdul Waheed Khaliq Ramay and members of Central Ulema Council of Pakistan also present.
Meanwhile, Nazriya Pakistan Forum (NPF) also arranged a seminar in which religious scholars addressed the participants and strongly condemned Indian cruelty in Kashmir valley.
The Kashmir solidarity functions and rallies were also held at University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) where the speakers appealed the international community to play active role in early solution of Kashmir issue to save South Asia from nuclear war.
Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) also arranged a Quran Khawani and prayed for the martyrs of Kashmir freedom movement.
