Kashmiri PhD martyred fighting against Indian brutality

Sunday, June 21, 2020: Kashmiri PhD scholar, Hilal Ahmed, got martyred while fighting against the Indian Army in Srinagar, Kashmir.

According to Baaghi TV report, PhD Scholar Hilal Ahmed was martyred in Srinagar battle today, 4 Kashmiri youths were martyred in bloody clashes between security forces and Mujahideen during 2 operations in Occupied Kashmir. Qamarwari Srinagar’s Shakur Farooq Lango, Jaish-e-Muhammad’s Shahid Ahmed Bhatt and Bemana’s Hilal Ahmed, who recently went missing.

According to South Asian Wire, security forces launched a search operation on the information that militants were hiding in Mohalla Pajalpura of Gali Kadal area of Zuni Marg in Srinagar, where three Kashmiri Mujahideen were martyred in a bloody clash between police and militants. They are said to belong to Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish. Explosions were heard at the site of the operation.

Junaid Sahrai, the district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, was martyred in an operation before the large-scale search operation in Srinagar. Security forces evacuated the family from the house where the militants are hiding. The CRPF Valley’s QAT (Quick Action Team), CRPF’s 115th and 28th Battalions and J&K police launched a joint search operation in the morning.
