Kate Winslet breaks Tom Cruise’s record in ‘Avatar 2’

Los Angeles, 3rd November: In 2015, Tom Cruise set a movie record by holding his breath for an underwater stunt for 6 minutes in ‘Mission Impossible Rogue Nation’, which has now been broken by Hollywood actress Kate Winslet five years later.

Baaghi TV: Director James Cameron’s film ‘Avatar 2’ is said to have more scenes in the water and Kate Winslet will be seen as a ‘water person’.

For this role, Kate Winslet performed an impressive 7-minute scene, breaking Tom Cruise’s record by holding her breath for 6 minutes.

According to a foreign news agency, June Lando, the producer of Avatar, recently shared a photo of an underwater scene of Kate Winslet on Instagram.

The caption of the photo quoted an interview with Kate Winslet in which she said, “For the role of Avatar, I learned how to do free dive and it was a great experience.

She wrote, “I managed to hold my breath for 7 minutes and 14 seconds which was very, very amazing. I am playing the role of a water person.”

It should be noted that in 2015, Tom Cruise made a movie record by holding his breath for an underwater stunt for 6 minutes in ‘Mission Impossible Rogue Nation’.

In ‘Avatar 2’, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Rebels and Sigourney Weaver will once again be seen playing their roles, with the addition of a few new characters.

‘Avatar 2’ has been delayed several times, but its been recently announced that it will be released on December 16, 2022, instead of December 2021, while ‘Avatar 3’ will be released on December 20, 2024, instead of December 3, 2023.

Avatars 4 and 5 will hit cinemas in 2026 and 2028, respectively.

Hollywood director James Cameron released his film Avatar in 2009, which grossed 2.79 billion at the box office, making it the most expensive film of its time.

The record for the highest-grossing film for nearly 10 years was held by Avatar, which was finally broken by ‘Avengers End Game’ last year.
