Lahore, 19th November: Khadim Hussain Rizvi, founder of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has passed away.
According to the news from Baaghi TV, Khadim Hussain Rizvi founder and prominent leader of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan passed away at 54 on Thursday.
As per reports, he was suffering from heart disease for quite a long time. A few days back he had caught fever when he was in the party’s sit-in in Islamabad and had not recovered from it.
His death was confirmed by Asif Jalali, the head of another TLP faction. Jalali said Rizvi passed away at his home in Chowk Yateem Khana in Lahore.
It may be remembered that Khadim Hussain Rizvi was a far-right radical preacher and an Islamic Scholar of the Barelvi tradition.
He was the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Labbaik, a hardline religious political organization founded in 2015 which is known to protest against any change to the blasphemy law in the country.
