Khawaja Pir Hameed-ud-Din Sialvi passes away

Sargodha: Hazrat Khawaja Pir Hameed-ud-Din Sialvi, a famous Pakistani religious figure from Sargodha district, has passed away.

According to details the late was a Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Alia Sial Sharif. The deceased belonged to Sial Sharif village near Sargodha district of Punjab. He has been a member of the Senate in the past from 1988 to 1993.

His family’s influence extends to Sargodha, Chiniot, Mianwali, Khushab and adjoining districts. His devotees include large political families from these districts. Khawaja Pir Hameed-ud-Din Sialvi had also played an important role in the issue of the demise of the Prophet in the previous PML-N government.

Khawaja Pir Hameed-ud-Din Sialvi had claimed that he had the resignations of several MLAs belonging to the PML-N. Khawaja Pir Hameed-ud-Din Sialvi had demanded the resignation of the then provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah.
