KP Government imposes a different lockdown

Peshawar, 8th May: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has agreed to ease the lockdown in the province, according to reports. In addition to groceries, shops will remain closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the statement said.

According to the details, the lockdown has been going on in Pakistan for the last month to stop the spread of the coronavirus like the rest of the world. However, due to this lockdown, the poor and the working class are facing severe difficulties. The federal government has announced a relaxation of the lockdown in view of the concerns of the said class.

The provincial government has also announced a decision to ease the lockdown. The statement said that all shops except groceries will remain closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

PM Khan makes a big announcement regarding lockdown

According to the announcement, all types of shops will operate as per the prescribed procedure, business is allowed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., a statement issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government said. The decision to open the transport will be taken after consultation.

It may be recalled that after the announcement of relaxation in lockdown by the federal government, the Punjab government has also announced relaxation in lockdown. However, the Punjab government said that relaxation in lockdown will be implemented from next week.
