KSA makes a big demand after the attack on its Embassy
13th November 2020: A shooting at the Saudi embassy in The Hague, Netherlands, has been confirmed by local police, according to the news agency, which said that several shots were fired by an unknown person outside the Saudi embassy.
According to police, no casualties have been reported in the incident. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. According to local media, police found 20 bullet casings at the scene.
The Hague police have appealed to the public to contact if they have any information about the incident.
Saudi Arabia has called the incident a cowardly act and instructed its citizens in the Netherlands to take extra security measures.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, as soon as the ‘cowardly’ attack took place, the security personnel of the Saudi embassy reported it to the Dutch security services, after which the embassy building was surrounded by security personnel. No one was injured in the incident.
The Saudi government has said it is awaiting the outcome of the investigation and hopes those responsible will be brought to justice.
