‘Laal Kabootar’ Actor Wins Award at South Asian Film Festival

Lahore (25th Sept, 2019): Pakistani actor, Ahmed Ali Akbar wins award at the South Asian Film Festival held in Washington DC.
According to reports, Ahmed Ali Akbar has shared a picture of the “Best Actor” award that he has won at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival for his performance in the Pakistani film, Laal Kabootar, starring alongside Mansha Pasha.

He has captioned the Instagram post by saying that he is “truly honored to have won” the award. Moreover, the film Laal Kabootar has also reportedly been selected as Pakistan’s official submission for the 92nd Academy Awards. The film has been directed by Kamal Khan with Taha Malik as the music director including Hania Chima and Kamil Chima as the producers for the promising film.
