Lahore: Lahore Police in its report regarding the performance of Tenant Registration System (TRS),Travel and Hotel Eye softwares, has issued details of the checking, enrolment of tenants, passengers and private employees through its different biometric and online digital applications under this system. According to the report, Lahore Police enrolled as many as 02 lac 99 thousand and 264 tenants under TRS this year till now.
Accordingly Cantt Division Police enrolled 59668, City Division 28574,Civil Lines Division 16652, Iqbal Town Division 24056, Model Town Division 86385 and Sadar Division Police enrolled as many as 83929 tenants under TRS. Lahore Police also enrolled 22 thousand 875 private employees under Registration of Private Employees (ROPE) through this system. Lahore Police arrested as many as 414 proclaimed offenders of different categories through TRS including 246 proclaimed offenders under tenant registration and ROPE. Cantt Division Police enrolled 8229, City Division 6363, Civil Lines Division 816, Iqbal Town Division 823, Model Town Division 1971 and Sadar Division Police enrolled as many as 4673 private employees through Registration of Private Employee (ROPE). CCPO Lahore Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar has Said that ‘’Hotel Eye’’ and Travel Eye are the softwares of Lahore Police which have also proved very helpful to arrest criminals particularly proclaimed offenders. As many as 08 lac 75 thousands 542 persons have been cheeked though ‘’Hotel & Travel Eye’’softwares and as many as 468 proclaimed offenders were arrested during checking process through this software during this year. CCPO Lahore has directed all the Divisional SPs, DSPs and SHOs to further improve the performance of enrolment of tenants and private employees through TRS so as to enable Lahore Police to grab the habitual criminals particularly proclaimed offenders. Ghulam Mahmood Dogar also directed the ,SDPOs, SHOs and In charges Investigations to make their presence mandatory in their respective Police Stations from 03pm to 06pm on daily basis to personally hear the problems and complaints of citizens. The CCPO Lahore warned that strict action will be taken against the officers who will fail in compliance of the orders regarding listening to the problems of citizens in the specific time. He further directed SDPOs to submit a regular monitoring report of related SHOs and In Charge Investigation regarding their attendance and presence in Police Stations in this regard.
