Lahore Police ready for security of Quaid-e-Azam Day, Christmas celebrations

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Lahore Police is ready for security management during Christmas celebrations and Quaid-e-Azam day.
According to reports, Christmas security plan in consultation with Christian leaders and church authorities. “We will provide full protection to the Christian community to celebrate the festival”, DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan.

More than 6,000 police officers and youth will perform their duties on Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day.
“Christmas, Quaid-e-Azam Day Participants wear masks, use hand sanitizers, and implement Corona SOPs”, DIG Operations.
“The security audit of churches and important places has been done. Daily search and sweep operations are being carried out across the city before Christmas”, Ashfaq Khan.
“Police officers should check the security of churches and other important places themselves. Churches, worshipers will be provided foolproof security based on three levels of fence”, DIG Operations.

Ashfaq Khan added that effective patrolling will be carried out around churches and Christian communities by the Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit.
Checking of vehicles and persons on entrances and exits of the city is also being ensured, DIG operations.
People who come to church for prayer services will only be allowed to enter after full identification and checking, said Ashfaq Khan. Moreover, DIG operations police officers, church management are instructed to ensure use of walk-through gates, metal detectors.

“Nominated volunteers of the church administration have been provided necessary training at Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh”, DIG operations.
“Snipers on the roofs of sensitive churches will keep a close eye on the movement of the sides. Additional personnel will be deployed for the security of major parks, amusement parks and parks in the city”, Ashfaq Khan.
“Parking will be at a reasonable distance from the churches. The security measures are aimed at securing Christmas prayers and services”, DIG operations.
