The protocols made by Board were also not implemented. Due to non-implementation of SOPs, the situation has reached this stage. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the postponement of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in view of increasing cases of corona virus.”

The difficult decision was made in an emergency meeting between the PSL management and the team owners due to the increasing number of Corona cases. The situation after the increase in Corona cases was discussed in the virtual meeting. Following a virtual meeting between the PCB and the team owners, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the immediate postponement of the HBL Pakistan Super League 6. The decision comes after seven corona cases surfaced in the league. The PCB will now immediately take steps to provide PCR testing, corona vaccine and isolation facilities to participants from all six teams.
