Lala Musa police fails to arrest accused in murder case of poor boy

Lahore: Sadar Lala Musa, Gujrat, police has failed to arrest influential accused in murder case of a son of a poor family, family members of the victim told Baaghi TV Monday.

Arshad Ali, 16, was hired for Rs 15000 monthly by accused landlords of Lala Musa for working on lands of the accused persons.
As per the family members, their son has never returned to them for the last one and a half year.

“We don’t know either he has been killed or alive. If he is alive he must return to us. And if he is murdered he body should be handed over to us so we could live with peace,” 70 year old Sardar Ali, father of victim, Arshad Ali, with his eyes full of tears, said.

“My son in law has seen my son being tortured by the accused. He told us that Arshad Ali was unconscious in a room with the accused person,” mother of Arshad Ali added.

The victim’s family is living in Lahore Johar Town, beside the Emporium Mall in tents (Juhugian ) for the last twelve years.
They said the the accused hired their son Arshad Ali, for working on their lands for Rs 15000.

“We have to run from pillar to post to get FIR registered in Lala Musa, Kharian after six months. Now that the FIR registered but investigation officer Iqbal is not taking the case seriously as neither my brother is recovered nor the accused have been arrested, Munawar Ali,  brother of Arshad Ali said, adding that we have limited resources and have to seek help of others for arranging money for fare and other expenses all the way from Lahore to Gujrat.
He said that they have also approached IG Police Punjab but none has contacted with them for the last two months.

They urged IG Punjab, DPO Gujrat and other authorities concerned to take notice of the case and arrest the accused person, bringing them to the books.
