LAHORE (15th Nov, 2019): The federal minister for Information and Technology, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has announced to develop a mobile application Baytee.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the aim of Baytee application is to empower women through information and communication technologies. The decision was made during a meeting held under Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in Islamabad.

The Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan took to Twitter and wrote, “Ministry of IT and Telecom starts work on program ‘Baytee’ to empower women through #ICT and #Communication.”

Reportedly, Baytee  is a digital platform for women empowerment through information and communications technology. Moreover, it will ensure reach of Government services to the doorstep of every woman.

Can A State Progress If They Disrespect Women?

Sources of Baaghi TV have confirmed that through Baytee application women will be able to locate nearby hospitals, hostel, educational institutions and woman police stations. On top of this, Baytee application will also work as centralized platform for existing women empowerment programs executed by the different public and private sector.
