Lawmakers performing Hajj not on govt expense: Asif
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif expressed the confidence that the deal will be struck with the IMF which will bring back economic stability.
Khawaja Asif clarified that all lawmakers who went for Hajj, paid their own expense and the government only arranged a special Hajj flight for them.
There was an uproar on social media that lawmakers went to perform Hajj 2023 on public taxpayers’ money.
