Legendary actor Dilip Kumar hospitalized, confirms wife Saira Banu
Lahore, 6th June: Bollywood icon Dilip Kumar has been shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated.
According to reports, the veteran superstar of India was taken to a hospital on Sunday after he complained of difficulty in breathing.
Dilip Kumar’s wife and veteran actress Saira Banu confirmed the news that he has been shifted to PD Hinduja Hospital.

Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter account stated that he has been admitted to non-COVID PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations after having episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him.
The statement further urged the fans to pray for Dilip Kumar’s health.
Saira Banu told the Indian Express, that ‘after he complained of breathlessness, we took Dilip Sahab to the hospital in Khar Road at 8.30 am.’
She added that a team of doctors is treating him and we have got a few tests done, we are awaiting reports. Please pray for him that he feels better and we can take him home quickly.
It may be noted that Dilip Kumar was taken to a hospital last month as well for his routine check-up after which he was discharged after two days.
