LESCO CEO opens new GSC complex

Lahore: Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, Chief Executive of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has inaugurated a new complex for offices of TLC, T&I, Civil and GC divisions.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Executive said that the Civil Department is commendable for the construction of this state-of-the-art building.
On this occasion, DG Admin Mian Muhammad Afzal, Technical Director Aziz-ur-Rehman, Operations Director Shahid Haider, Chief Engineer Development Asif Majeed, PDGSE Rifat Mehboob Alam, SE Civil Furqan Ghazanfar, Deputy Manager Admin Salman Haider K. At the same time, Exxons of GSC divisions Muhammad Shabbir, Asif Javed Khalid, Malik Zahid and a large number of staff were present.
Meanwhile, LESCO Chief also visited the newly constructed 132 Kv Walton Grid and inspected the construction work there. DGSE Rifat Mehboob Alam gave a briefing on construction of grid.
The LESCO Chief Chaudhry Muhammad Amin said there was a great need for this grid in view of the growing population of Lahore city.
” With the operation of this grid, the electricity related problems of Walton and the surrounding population will be solved and especially the problem of voltage will not be faced,” the LESCO Chief said, congratulating the officers and employees of GSE on the construction of New Walton Grid and reiterated his commitment to improve the power transmission system in the LESCO region including Lahore.
