LAHORE, Sep 17 (Online Int’l): Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday banned use of polythene plastic bags in Punjab.
According to media reports , LHC on plea of advocate Abuzar Salaman Khan has ordered authorities to immediately implement the court’s order of ban on polythene bag.
Petitioner had argued that plastic bags are a source of pollution and significant damaged has been caused to environment from their use.
