Light Rain in Parts of Karachi, Causes K-Electric’s Breakdown
Karachi (25th July, 2019): Rain in different parts of Karachi causes system breakdown for K-Electric
According to Baaghi TV’s reports, overnight rain in the port city causes K-Electric breakdown. Rain in areas of Shahrah-e-Faisal, Chandigarh Road, Old City Area and others last night.

It has been reported that the rain has caused a suspension in Nazimabad, Korangi, Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Lyari as well as the Kharadar and Old City Areas, respectively.

According to the Meteorological Department (MET), Karachi may face light rain over a period of the next 24 hours. Moreover, it has been observed that the power system had been shut down in nearly 70% of the port city due to rain.
