Macron EGGED by a protestor, video went viral

French President Emmanuel Macron was pelted with an egg on Monday (yesterday) at a public place after his blasphemous statements against the Muslim community.

According to the details, a protester threw an egg at Macron that hit him on the side of his head as he was conversing with people

A video clip of the moment Macron was smacked in the head with the egg has been going viral on the internet – showing he was in the middle of a conversation when it struck him. Security staff rushed forward to protect him but he was already smeared in yolk.

People in the crowd were visibly shocked as Macron ducked down and guards searched for the person behind the attack.

It is to be noted that this is not the first time Macron has been egged in public, such incidents have taken place multiple times – in 2016 and 2017 as well.

Back in 2016, Macron (the then French Economy Minister) visited the office in Montreuil when he came face to face with a group of workers and Communist Party members furious who threw eggs at him and one hit him on the side of the head as he entered the building.

Moreover, the French President was attacked with the egg while he attended Salon International de l’Agriculture 2017 in Paris.

It is to be remembered that French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday accused Muslims of separatism and vowed not to give up cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammed. The leader’s comments came in response after the beheading of a 47-year-old teacher, Samuel Paty, who was attacked on his way home from the junior high school where he taught in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, 40 kilometres northwest of Paris.
