Madrassa teacher arrested for hanging minor boy upside down

RAWALPINDI 29th June: Another incident of child abuse at a seminary has come to light, in which a young student was reportedly hung upside down and severely beaten. Rawalpindi police on a tip off, arrested the teacher involved in the gruesome act on Friday.

Police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), with the special help by the intelligence agencies, located the madrassa within no time of the footage of the heinous crime going viral on social media. The suspected accused, Noor Muhammad, was arrested from the maddrassa located in Dhok Kashmirian, Sadiqabad. He, the victim and his father, were taken to Sadiqabad police station for further interrogation.
Initial investigation revealed the incident occurred in last winter, after which a settlement was reached between the seminary management and the aggrieved party.

Police officials claim that a total of 30 students were living in the Rawalpindi seminary, which they said belonged to man hailing from Murree, who is also placed on the Fourth Schedule.
