Mahira Khan bags an International Award
Lahore, 12th October: Mahira Khan, a world-renowned actress of Pakistan Showbiz Industry, has bagged the Best Actress award at the Indus Valley International Film Festival.
Baaghi TV: Actress Mahira Khan has been awarded the Best Actress award at the Indus Valley International Film Festival for her performance in ‘Ho Mann Jahan’ while the movie has also been given a special award at the festival.
The actress shared a photo of her award on her Instagram story and thanked the South Asian Forum.
It may be recalled that the first Indus Valley International Film Festival was organized by the South Asian Forum for Art and Creative Heritage. This is the first digital film festival of its kind in which workshops, masterclasses with film screenings are conducted with musical concerts.
Four films will represent Pakistan at the festival, including filmmaker Jamshed Mehmood alias Jami’s film Moore, Adnan Sarwar’s Motorcycle Girl, Shahid Nadeem’s Pakistan’s Best Kept Secrets and filmmaker Iqran Rashid’s ‘Aadat’.
It should be noted that Ho Mann Jahan revolves around three young people who are interested in music and decide to form a music band after graduation. The main cast includes Sheheryar Munawar and Adeel Hussain besides Mahira Khan.
