Pakistani celebrities send prayers to the families of martyrs after the suicide attack outside Islamabad’s district courts on Tuesday.

A day after a suspected terror attack in New Delhi, the federal capital, the suicide attack took place near the main gate of G11 Islamabad Courthouse. This prompted emergency measures at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and activated emergency services and Rescue operations by 1122.

The entire country mourned this loss along with the renowned public figures. Actress Maya Ali expressed her grief for those who lost their loved ones saying, “Islamabad. So much pain. For What? Innocent lives taken, families shattered and for what purpose? My heart aches for innocent souls taken in this horrific blast. Khudaya reham karo. No one gains anything from this cruelty!!”
Singer-Actor Farhan Saeed expressed his solidarity on Twitter with the nation and all those who are suffering from Tuesday’s suicide attack. He gave his statement on X saying, “My heart goes out to all the martyrs of this cowardly attack and prayers for the injured. May Pakistan overcome this challenge, our enemies can never see Pakistan prosper.”
Actor Adnan Siddiqui posted on his Instagram account saying, “Praying for the innocent lives lost and the families left behind in the Islamabad b*ast. No place in this world for such hatred. Peace will always prevail over violence and evil.”
The renowned Gen-Z Singer Talha Anjum condemned the heartless act saying, “12 dead in Islamabad after a blast. TTP has claimed responsibility for the attack. I stand with the Pakistani forces against the war on terrorism. They cannot be rehabilitated they must be neutralised.”
Osman Khalid Butt also prayed for the departed saying, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Praying for the maghfirat of the twelve killed in the cowardly bombing outside the Islamabad court, and a swift recovery of those injured. Allah ham sab ko apne hifz-o-amaan mai rakhay.”
Deeply saddened by the deaths of so many, Bilal Ashraf offered his condolences saying, “Heart goes out to every single person affected.”
