Man who deceives people in name of Hajj, Umrah arrested

Lahore: The Lahore Police Friday arrested Ahmed Naseer in Hajj and Umrah cases

The accused used to take money from the citizens on account of Hajj and Umrah but never sent the customers to the pilgrimage.

The accused used to change the area after committing several incidents deceiving  the customers.

SP Investigation Cantt Naveed Irshad said that dozens of cases of embezzlement and check dishonor were registered against the accused in different police stations of the city.

In-charge Investigation Server Road Anwar Saeed alongwith his team arrested the accused.

Earlier, the police arrested a rickshaw driver who fled away with 4-sheep of a citizen.

Upon a complaint the police had registered FIR against the accused person Awais.
The complainent  said that the rikshaw drive delibiatly took away his 4-sheep by pushing him out of the rikshaw near Euro Store at Ghari Shahi.
The complainant had hired to transport the sheep to his place, he informed.

He said that he hired the rikshaw for Rs 1000 and the total value of the four sheep was Rs 80000.

The rickshaw driver had took away  the sheep with him in the Civil Lines Police limits.

According to SP Investigation Civil Lines Ali Bin Tariq, accused Owais has been arrested and the four sheep recovered.

In-charge Investigation Garhi Shahu Javed Iqbal along with the team arrested the accused and took him into custody.
