Maryam Nawaz afraid of PM Imran’s success: Firdous Ashiq Awan

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday has said that (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz used indecent language as a way to vent her frustration against the government.

In a tweet, Dr Firdous said that Maryam Nawaz is afraid of Imran Khan’s success as prime minister.

Earlier, Dr Firdous said the purpose of amnesty scheme was to provide an opportunity to the people for legalization of their black and grey money and so in the process to generate tax revenue as well.

She said the present government wanted to bring back the money of those hiding their suspicious accounts abroad. This step would help reduce inflation besides improving the national economy, she added. The special assistant said that those found involved in concealing their accounts abroad, would be dealt with iron hands.
