Maryam Nawaz, Captain Safdar finally got a Good News!

A case of alleged desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML N) leader Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar was heard in City Court Karachi, today.

According to the details, an application against Captain (retd) Safdar and Maryam Nawaz regarding alleged desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid.

The Mazar-e-Quaid Management Board had filed a petition for the case. The petitioner said that Safdar and the accompanying workers damaged the shrine and a case should be filed against him and his workers.

It may be recalled that during Maryam Nawaz’s visit to Karachi, Safdar had chanted slogans at Mazar-e-Quaid. An anti-government movement was going on in those days and there was a Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) meeting in Karachi.

Safdar was arrested from his hotel room in the wee hours of October 19, causing a political uproar. However, he was released on a post arrest bail the same day.
