Lahore, 28th September: After the arrest of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif today, Maryam Nawaz has been declared the next party leader.
According to reports, following the arrest of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz has been authorized to lead the party.
ARY News reported that in this context, guidelines have been issued by the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from London to form an advisory board in the party for the future course of action.
As per confirmed sources, Maryam Nawaz will lead the party in the absence of Shehbaz Sharif and will also address the public gatherings of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
Sources also revealed that the recommendation for the next public gathering of the PDM meeting will be held in Quetta soon.
It is to be noted that earlier today, PML-N President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a money-laundering case and assets beyond means case.
