“Maula Vey” by Shehzad Roy preaches need to get vaccinated!

Talented Pakistani vocalist, Shehzad Roy, has released his new single with a focus on ‘love in the times of Covid-19’, single-handedly preaching to the public to get vaccinated.
The popular singer-songwriter, guitarist and musical genius has made a remarkable comeback with his latest single titled “Maula Vey” and focuses on a love story in the present times. Roy started his career back in the 1990s and has to his credit many popular hits in the Pakistani music diaspora including “Saali”, “Teri Soorat”, “Laga Rahey”, and others.

Nevertheless, Roy is most notably known for his social-political album titled Qismat Apney Haath Mein, which strives to re-awaken a drowsy nation and remind them to take control of their destiny. The lyrical vocalist is also known for his social work as the President & Founder of the “Zindagi Trust” foundation. In addition, Roy is also known as a UNODC Goodwill Ambassador. His Twitter bio claims that he strives to “fight for a better Pakistan” by “trying to change things” he cannot accept.

Since its release a few days prior, the song has been appreciated by celebrities and political leaders alike, with actor-producer Humayun Saeed and Federal Minister Asad Umar retweeting the song to appreciate Roy’s project.
According to reports, Humayun Saeed wrote, “What a nice song and great video with a powerful message!” meanwhile, Asad Umar tweeted, “Great message by @ShehzadRoy. Please do get vaccinated, if not done so yet“.
