Maulana Tahir Ashrafi supports construction of temple in Islamabad
Saturday, July 11th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council and President of Darul Iftaa Pakistan Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has said that minorities in Pakistan have all rights.
Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that the constitution of Pakistan is the protector of the rights of Muslims and non-Muslims. Responsible laws do not apply to non-Muslims living in Pakistan. The matter of the Islamabad temple is before the court and the Islamic Ideological Council. Darul Iftaa Pakistan and Pakistan Ulema Council will present their proposals in the Islamic Ideological Council.
Allama Tahir-ul-Ashrafi further said that places of worship of non-Muslims have been built in Pakistan. No group will be allowed to usurp the rights of non-Muslims. False allegations of blasphemy have also been leveled at some places. In the last two years, more than 26 cases of blasphemy have been resolved through negotiations.
Allama Tahir Ashrafi further said that the law of honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has saved many lives. The Qadianis have all the rights under the Constitution of Pakistan. The Qadianis hold the most important government positions in Pakistan. They must recognize the constitution and the law of Pakistan.
It should be noted that the foundation stone of the first temple was laid in the federal capital Islamabad. In 2017, on the orders of the National Commission for Human Rights, a four-marla plot was allotted to the Hindu Panchayat of Islamabad by the CDA. Work on the infrastructure and the four walls has begun.
It will be the first Hindu temple to be built in Islamabad. Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Lal Malhi was the chief guest at the groundbreaking ceremony. The first temple is being built in Islamabad after the independence of Pakistan. Sector H9/2 of Islamabad has been allotted for the Hindu community’s place of worship.
At present, there is no functional temple in Islamabad for the worship of the Hindu community. Shri Krishna is building a temple of God in Islamabad.
