Meera speaks up after the rumours about her mental illness

Lahore, 9th April: Pakistan’s famous actress Meera has come forward and finally denied rumours of being admitted to a mental hospital in the United States.

Lollywood diva Meera clarified that she has not been admitted to a mental asylum in the US, however, she has been feeling quite depressed lately.

While talking to a media news outlet, Meera objected to false news circulating about her. She reported that she has been with her in-laws in New York.

Meera further shared that she is severely depressed about not getting any work in the entertainment industry after her last film ‘Baaji’ that was released last year.

She confirmed, “I am severely depressed and will be returning to Pakistan in a few days.”

The 43-year-old actress also stated that her mother’s video about her was a total misunderstanding.

Meera informed that she had travelled from Dubai to New York on March 27 and had received the COVID vaccine at a Brooklyn hospital in New York.

However, the ‘Baaji’ actress had alleged that there are conspiracies working against her in the industry to tarnish her image.
