Meera tested for COVID-19

Lahore, 14th May: Pakistan’s leading movie actress Meera has been tested for coronavirus after her safe return from NewYork.

According to Baaghi TV, Meera’s test report for the coronavirus has arrived and it is negative. The actress who had been stuck in the United States of America due to the ongoing global pandemic has reportedly been flown to Pakistan from Washington, in a special plane commissioned by foreign airlines.

However, she arrived at Lahore from Washington on Tuesday night after which she quarantined herself in a private hotel.

Actress Meera was tested for the coronavirus in her hotel and the result has come out negative. Meera is very happy with her negative test result.

It is to be noted that Meera got stranded in NewYork after she finished shooting for her movie. Due to the pandemic and lockdown, she wasn’t able to return to her country. Meera released her videos from NewYork appealing to the PM to repatriate her as soon as possible.

Pakistan has operated special flights to bring back Pakistanis from abroad despite the suspension of air operations in the lockdown. For the first time in history, PIA has been allowed direct flights to the United States.
