Meghan Markle plans to run for president
22nd June: Lady Colin Campbell, a British writer, has claimed that Meghan Markle has political ambitions and ‘wants to run for president one day’.
According to Baaghi TV, Lady Colin Campbell, who has published books about the British Royal family claims that Meghan Markle aspires to run for the president one day, as she prepares to release her book on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Lady Colin Campbell is a Jamaican-born British writer, socialite, and television and radio personality who has published three books about the British royal family. They include biographies of Diana, Princess of Wales, which was on The New York Times bestseller list in 1992, and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
The author, 70, told FEMAIL she thought that moving to the US was part of the plan to make the shift into the political sphere.
She said: ‘I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I’ve been told that one day she wants to run for President.’
‘I think everything she is doing, leaving the royal family and moving back to California is part of her plan and she has taken Harry along with her.’

In one of her interviews given to the Sunday Times, in recent weeks, the author said that Meghan has ‘squandered’ the ‘most wonderful opportunity’ by leaving the royal family.
According to Colin, Meghan could not adjust well to life as a Royal member. Speaking to Australian TV network Channel Nine on Friday in which she said Meghan was the ‘driving force’ behind the decision to leave the royal family.

‘If you listen to their engagement tape they both state she’s been treated very well, she’s been welcomed with open arms and they can’t wait for her to become a working member of the royal family and she said she wanted to hit the ground running.
‘It did not work out for Meghan the way she thought it would… Meghan did not make the adjustment she should have and could have, and she is the one in my opinion [who drove the departure].’
